War and Peace - Is War Ever Justified?

Luke Dunne uses the sixth session of the Political Philosophy series to discuss the ethics of war and peace by considering a series of historical conflicts, as well as controversies of war.

Examining a range of historical conflicts, the debate centres around when, if ever, war is justified, and under which conditions. We’ll also consider using a range of controversial practices in warfare, including the use of nuclear weapons, targeted assassinations and prisoner exchanges.
