Justice - Crime and Punishment

In the fifth part of this series, Luke Dunne introduces the justice system, with a system on criminal justice in particular.

After a brief historical overview, he dives right into the legal process, seeking to answer questions like:

  • What actually goes on in a courtroom, a police station, or a prison?

  • How do we know if someone is innocent or guilty?

  • What are some of the strengths and weaknesses of the criminal justice system in its present form, and how might it change in the future?
