Luke - Philosophy and Theology, University of oxford
Hi, I'm Luke. I graduated from the University of Oxford in the summer of 2021. Before this, I was educated at Westminster School, where I took Economics, Theology, History and English Literature at A-Level. I have over 1000 hours of teaching experience in a range of areas, including:
Oxbridge preparation for Philosophy, Theology and related subjects
Russell Group, US and Canadian university applications
A Level/ IB RS/Philosophy, Economics, History and Politics (including teaching a Politics summer-school)
GCSE RS/Philosophy, History, Economics, Classical Civilisation, English (including teaching an Economics GCSE course in-person)
In the most recent public examinations, I helped numerous students achieve the highest possible grade in these subjects, with many significantly outperforming thier predicted grades.
I'm passionate about creating a productive, student-led dialogue, and teaching students to respond difficult material in a rigorous and convincing way. I'm focused on bringing the very best of the education I received at Westminster School and the University of Oxford into my sessions.
In summary, this means combinining a gregarious, open minded attitude to dialogue in class with a bespoke course of study designed for each student. In other words, progressive education with a clear plan in mind.
