Hello! I’m Shiv and I am a fourth-year student at the University of Cambridge studying Mechanical, Civil and Aerothermal Engineering. I attended Tiffin School in Kingston upon Thames, where I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-level, achieving A* in each subject.

Engineering is not a subject commonly studied at school, but many choose to pursue it in higher education. I want to demystify the application process for degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and assist those taking GCSEs or A-Levels in the physical sciences. I have over 3 years of experience guiding applicants through the university admissions cycle and am excited to share my enthusiasm for these subjects with you!

The strength of the tutor-student relationship is key for getting the most of one-on-one tuition sessions. If done right, a love for learning that extends beyond the walls of the classroom can be instilled. I endeavour to nurture this by tailoring the style and content of lessons to match the needs of each student, building academic confidence and ability.
