Ryan

Hi, I’m Ryan and I’ve just finished my second year studying engineering science at Keble College, Oxford. At school, I studied A level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Biology, achieving A* in all of them.

Despite not having much formal tutoring experience, throughout school and now university I have helped multiple friends, friends’ siblings and younger students with Maths, Physics and Oxbridge application questions. Therefore, I enjoy and feel comfortable teaching my subjects at any level up to aptitude tests for university applications. I believe that when it comes to Maths and STEM, by far the most important part of learning is understanding as it is what ultimately makes problem solving and progress accessible. For that reason, whenever I teach, I prioritise patience and finding the approach unique to every student that will lead to gaining that crucial understanding.

Outside of academics, I am a very keen footballer with my college and university football being (almost) as important as engineering at Oxford. I also love playing the piano and trying out new activities whenever I can.
