Nancy - Mathematics, University of oxford

Hi, I'm Nancy! I graduated from Oxford in 2022 with an honours degree in Mathematics. Since then, I’ve been working in AI as a semantic ontologist, where I apply logical and mathematical thinking to structure and interpret complex data. Alongside this, I’ve continued my passion for teaching — I first started tutoring at 16 and now have over eight years of experience helping students reach their full potential.

I offer maths lessons ranging from 11+ up to A-level and IB. Before university, I studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-Level (A*A*A) and achieved a distinction in the Advanced Extension Award for Mathematics.

I was fortunate enough to always have teachers who made maths exciting and challenging, and I strive to do the same for my students. My lessons are engaging, tailored to each student’s ability, and designed to build confidence. I also focus on exam techniques — exploring different methods and shortcuts to help students find the approach that works best for them.
