Benedict

Hi, I’m Benedict, a Physics and Philosophy Masters student at Merton College, Oxford.

I previously attended Radley College where I was the top academic scholar and obtained 10 A*s at GCSE, and 3A*s at A-Level - though Maths and Physics are my speciality at A-Level, I have taught everything from Latin and French to English and Music!

Before starting at Oxford I took a gap year, during which I worked as a teaching assistant at a school for children aged 4-13. I also spent a lot of time back at my old school, Radley, coaching sports, and running an extra-curricular Physics project (detecting Muons!) for aspiring Oxbridge applicants, who I offered advice and assistance to through their application process, successfully in a number of cases. As an independent Tutor I first started when I was 17, and I haven’t looked back since. I have always enjoyed the thrill of teaching and engaging with others academically. I relish in connecting with aspiring minds, and have been fortunate to even tutor the children of certain Hollywood stars. Whether a student is just starting out in a field of study, is looking to ace an 11+ test for a particular school, or has their mind set on a university place, helping aid that process of learning and preparation is one that is rewarding like no other. As the son of an Oxford undergraduate turned teacher, I seem to be heading down an all too familiar path!
