Nicole

Hi there! I’m a second year History of Art student at Worcester College, University of Oxford. I studied History of Art, History, Latin and German at A Level. I also work at the Royal Academy of Arts and am curating an upcoming exhibition at the Stanley Spencer Gallery.

Tutoring requires an individualistic approach, with each session unique and tailored to the specific individual. My approach is to find strategies which work for an individual pupil, working closely with their existing knowledge and strengths, in order to build their confidence and ability. History of Art has so much potential as a subject to choose topics which the individual is interested in, and I capitalise on this element of choice to tailor revision to the tutee’s interests.

Over the last three years, I’ve tutored a range of ages, both virtually and in-person. I’ve volunteered as a teaching assistant in a primary school, as well as tutoring A Level and university applicants. I have found it so rewarding to work closely with my tutees to build their confidence and enable them to unlock their true potential.

I am happy to tutor History and History of Art up until A Level and to guide with History of Art university applications.
