Natasha - Geography, University of Oxford

Hello! My name is Natasha and I am currently completing my Geography studies at Oxford. I grew up at a British international school in Dubai, where I achieved 9s in all 11 subjects at GCSE and A*A*A in Geography, Psychology and Maths respectively at A-level, as well as the Gold award in the UKMT Senior Mathematics Challenge.

I have done freelance tutoring work since 2022 and I now tutor Geography at GCSE and A-level, Psychology at A-level, and Maths up to and including GCSE. I also have a large focus on Oxbridge Geography applications - I have rigorously tutored a number students over the course of the last 2 years with their personal statements and interview preparation, and all successfully gained admission to Oxbridge.

With regards to my tutoring approach, I enjoy engaging students in deep conversation about topic areas and applying classroom material to real-life scenarios to allow for richer understanding of the subject matter - thus moving beyond traditional approaches of rote learning and memorisation. University applications wise, I relish in providing tips based off my own experience of the interviews as well as my former students’, and I have gathered a database of self-made mock interview questions to train students' thought processes and boost their confidence for all types of potentially challenging scenarios.
