Hi I'm Matilda and I am currently studying Computer Science at Balliol College, Oxford! Having originally sat the Physics Aptitude Test for Oxford in 2018 before transferring to studying Computer Science in 2020, I have experience with studying both Physics and Computer Science at University. I have a wide variety of experience tutoring over the last four years with students ranging in age from 10, sitting CAT4 examinations, to students sitting the MAT and PAT entrance exams for Oxford at the end of their school career. I found through tutoring a passion for sharing my love of the mathematical sciences with younger students.

Outside of my degree at university I am a keen member of my college community, I play for my college netball team in weekly matches and am involved in a variety of access initiatives for the university. As a selected ambassador I have volunteered to give day tours to younger students and helped answer questions asked by prospective applicants on virtual panels. I have a strong belief that at its core tutoring should be student based and that the student should be allowed the freedom to ask questions and go deeper into the subject where they see fit. My undergraduate studies in Physics and Computer Science allow me to help students achieve this by tying in GCSE and A level maths and science with bigger more exciting parts of the field.
