Hello, my name is Juan. I recently completed my studies in Natural Sciences at Cambridge University, specialising in both chemistry and physics. I’m now working towards a PhD in Quantum Information Science while also supporting young adults in achieving academic success.

At A level, I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, achieving four A*s. I also competed in the UK Chemistry Olympiad, finishing in the top 25 of the country and earning a distinction in BMO1 (British Maths Olympiad).

I've been teaching for the past four years, assisting students with GCSEs, A-levels, and university applications, as well as guiding a number through Olympiads. As a tutor, I strive to give tailored guidance to each student based on their unique needs. I concentrate on understanding students' thought processes, bridging knowledge gaps, and strengthening their foundations. To me, the most crucial component of tutoring is ensuring that pupils have a solid foundation.

I truly enjoy mentoring students who want to go beyond the A-level curriculum, for example, by coaching them for maths and chemistry competitions. It is my personal goal to prove to students that learning can be a pleasurable experience!
