Jack - Biology, University of oxford

Hi! My name is Jack and I am a Biology Masters student at Oxford. At A-level I studied Biology, Maths, Physics and Chemistry, achieving 3 A*'s and an A. 

Throughout my time at university, I have supported many students of differing abilities with their GCSEs and A-Levels in science and maths. I have also run group and 1-on-1 help sessions for various students with their Oxbridge applications, including mock interviews for the Cambridge Natural Sciences and Oxford Biology courses.

From my experience in STEM subjects, I believe that the most important parts of learning are passion and understanding. Each student learns differently, so identifying the approach that helps each individual grasp a concept is key. I always tailor my teaching style to fit the needs and strengths of each of my students.

Outside of academia, I'm a keen rower and rugby player. My passion for nature also inspires me to spend time behind a paintbrush or camera lens!
