My name is Hannah and I am currently in my second year at the University of Oxford studying Economics and Management.

I completed my higher-level education at the Perse School in Cambridge. I achieved 3 D1 grades at Pre-U level in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, as well as an A* in Biology. I received an A* in my Extended Project Qualification on Artificial Intelligence. At GCSE I pursued a range of subjects achieving 13 A* grades.

My tutoring experience has been in a variety of subjects, including mentoring an after-school science club for pre-school children. In addition to my academic interests, I have achieved my grade 8 in Violin and Piano and have taught beginner students. Furthermore, growing up in a multicultural household, I am comfortable teaching both beginner Mandarin and German. I have in the past given advice to successful University and internship applicants.

Having received help from my Physics Professor father for many of my school years, I appreciate the value of having a personal mentor who understands an individual's strengths and weaknesses. Understanding how a student interprets information, be this visually, through repetition or practise, is an incredibly value tool for teaching new information. Most importantly, helping the student gain confidence in their own abilities, become enthusiastic about the process of learning and spur intellectual curiosity.
