Clare

Hi, I’m Clare and I am currently a fifth year medic at the University of Cambridge. I also have an intercalated degree in physiology, development and neuroscience with a minor in philosophy and ethics of medicine.  

I have tutored for a number of years in the sciences and maths, as well as in applications to medical school. I believe I am an encouraging and enthusiastic tutor, understanding that students learn best when they feel comfortable to ask questions. I help students to build a foundation of knowledge through clear explanations of basic principles and then challenge students to apply these to more complex topics.  I hope that my strong communications skills developed through medical training help me to be clear and patient tutor, and my supportive nature allows students to grow in confidence.  

At A-level I studied Biology (A*), Chemistry (A*) and Maths (A). In my free time I really enjoy sports.
