Hello, I’m Annabel and I graduated from Keble College, Oxford in June 2021 where I read Geography. I studied Geography (A*), Economics (A*) and History of Art (A*) for my A-levels. 

I tutored throughout university for both agencies and privately - both online and in person (and sometimes for residential stays with the family). Most of my experience has been for GCSE and A-Level students, both in a tutoring capacity but also as a study buddy - helping students to make the most of their revision periods at home.

It took me several years of struggling to absorb and understand knowledge at school to realise that I am very much a visual learner. After realising this, learning became so much easier for me, and this was reflected in my grades. I was able to adapt my learning style to work out how I understand best, how I can make notes that my mind can recall, and how I can demonstrate and adapt my knowledge in ways that best reflect my progress to others. With this being my personal experience, I try to help my students recognise their most effective way of learning too, and together we can perfect those methods that best suit them.
