Albert

Hi, I’m Albert. I have recently finished my integrated masters' degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford with a First Class Degree. At A-Level I studied Maths (A*), Biology (A*),  Chemistry (A) and Pre-U Spanish (D1 or A** equivalent).

I have been working as a tutor for almost three years now and have amassed over 500 hours of lesson time. This experience includes large amounts of online and in-person work, including residential tutoring over longer time periods. I have learnt different methods of teaching in order to best suit particular individuals and age-groups, having worked with students aged 5 to 18. I also currently have a perfect 5-star rating from 25 online reviews at a previous agency.

I love tutoring for the opportunity that it presents to genuinely help students as they develop academically. I enjoy the task of working with the students to figure out what method of learning works best for them. With my experience I feel confident in my ability to do this, and to make lessons both informative and fun! Some of my testimonials include:

“Thank YOU so much Albert for everything. You are honestly exactly the role model that I wish for my kids. All of them. You are clearly a genius, and more importantly, thoughtful, considerate and kind!” - Mother of three children 13-16

“Albert has been excellent with our son, offering engaging lessons and quickly identifying areas to support as well as encouraging confidence.” - Mother of 10-year-old

“Albert is an amazing tutor and very reliable. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed learning GCSE Maths with him. Albert is very professional in his whole approach, from timekeeping to providing detailed feedback on each lesson to us parents. I would definitely recommend him. Many thanks Albert!” - Mother of GCSE maths student

“Thank you so much for everything you have done for my son. He is so happy to have worked with you. You have been a star and we are lucky to have met you. You have bought so much to him as well as the teaching so I will be eternally grateful as will he!!” - Mother of GCSE student
