Nadia Roeske uses the Arabic language to explore Middle Eastern culture to give students an insight into the rich historical and cultural tapestry of the region.
Building on Sara’s seminar the previous week which explored Britain’s historical role in the Middle East, Nadia takes students on a journey to comprehend the beauty and cultural significance of the region. This is all conducted through the lens of the Arabic language that binds the region, but also divides it due to the stark regional dialects.
