Halima

Hi! I’m Halima, a recent graduate with MChem Chemistry from University College, Oxford. Prior to university I attended sixth form in London, gaining A*s in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, alongside being a GCSE Physics support mentee, KidsCount Youth Board member and Deputy Head Girl.

Tutoring for over 3 years in Chemistry and Physics alongside STEM university admissions, I have gained experience with students from a wide range of abilities and backgrounds, highlighting the ability to be flexible. A key focus on my tutoring approach is to ensure students are gaining effective exam technique. I always link content to how it can be presented in an exam question. This approach allows students to not only achieve the highest grades in examinations, but also learn how to approach their own future revision.

Abinaya

Hello! I’m Abinaya, an Oxford student in my fifth year of reading Medicine. My time at Oxford has been defined by both academic excellence and a passion for mentorship. With a BA in Medical Sciences, I have been honoured with College Prizes for outstanding academic performance. Prior to university, I achieved 3 A*s at A Level (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology) and 10 Grade 9s at GCSE, reflecting my strong grounding across the sciences.

I have been tutoring for over five years, working with students preparing for 11+, GCSE, and A-Level examinations, as well as university admissions with a wide range of abilities and exam boards. In my tutorials, I place strong emphasis on exam technique, analytical thinking, and confidence under pressure, helping students move from solid understanding to top-tier performance. Beyond achieving outstanding results, my aim is to help each student become a confident, curious thinker who approaches learning with clarity and self-belief — skills that will serve them well throughout their educational journey.
